As Founder of Life blossoms Interfaith ministries I have been guided into situations to minister already in the vein of our upcoming organization. God has found ministries I can handle financially and time wise.
1. The Glenpool apartments received permission to do a vegetable garden in spring 2014. The community is pulling together and is changing for the better.
2. working with a domestic violence victim on a job situation
3. helping two women who started a bakery getting more organized, and help them troubleshoot.
These ministries are tiny and yet very important steps toward the larger vision.
In the meantime my Founder's document is almost done and we are getting ready to work on the bylaws.
Hang in there with us as we take our baby steps.

Rights for the poor
While I am working on the Founder's document....(and I actually progressed into sixteen pages of it....now I have to work out the financial projections), I am helping people at a low income housing in Glenpool to get their rights taken seriously. I wrote a letter to the President of the company and will see what the response will be. The people want to be able to beautify the property which is supposedly not allowed, want to be able to do yard sales and have a vegetable garden. Even just being able to put their lawn chairs out will be progress. Poor people have rights, and they need to stand up for them.
This is my first action under the umbrella of Life Blossoms.
